Muscle Group: Back
Sadly your gym may not have the equipment needed for this exercise (hammer curl bar) but Hammer Pullovers are an excellent way to finish off the lats.
- Start the exercise by laying back on a decline bench. Using a hammer curl bar (also called a triceps bar) allow your slightly bent arms to stretch backwards until you get a complete stretch in the lats.
- In this position, pull the weight back upward with a wide range of motion. Pause when the bar is directly over your pecs for a peak contraction.
- Now slowly lower back to the starting position.
